These metric plug ring gauges are precision metrology tools designed for inspecting threaded or tapped holes. They verify thread type, major diameter, minor diameter, pitch diameter, and pitch against mating thread gauges.For smaller threaded parts, the gauge features a double-ended design with GO gauge on one end and NOGO on the other. Larger parts may use separate pieces. Proper inspection requires the GO gauge to pass through the entire length with minimal rotational force, while the NOGO gauge should not exceed two turns at either end.
